Eagle 61 :: Front Cover

Each term, the Club publishes its' own members' journal called 'Eagle'.

This website shows an example of one magazine, Eagle number 61 from Easter Term 1996.

Questions about the Eagle should be directed to the Journal Editor.

The VSOE and the boat train still use the Folkestone Harbour branch. However, on the 7th May 1994, the day of Eurotunnel's 'Celebration '94', a shuttle service operated with standard tanks 80079 and 80080 topping and tailing. J.Brian Carter

This version of Eagle was created using Impression Style on an Acorn A3000 computer for the Cambridge University Railway Club, and is reproduced by the University of Cambridge Publications Section. Contributions of anything railway-related are always required (especially if they involve some humour!) as are photographs (we can now cope with colour photographs so there is no excuse not to forward your favourite shots.......!). Submissions can be on paper, disc or email to the Journal Editor. Thanks as always to Geoff Skelsey, Roy Randall and all our trusty band of contributors - Eagle would not be the same without their invaluable help. The contents of this journal are ©C.U.R.C. 1996 and the opinions expressed within are not necessarily those of the editor or the club.
